What’s in it for you?
I have personally written or commissioned every single track on Beanstalk Audio. Because I own the catalogue outright, I can grant you a direct license to use it. If you ever experience any copyright issues or automated flags down the line, you can come straight to me for help.
You can use this music in your demos, showreels, or client pitches to help you land the next gig. The music must be part of your overall production and include your voice.
- Unlimited access: Download and reuse as many tracks as you need, as many times as you need them.
- Editor-friendly: You’ll find underscore versions, loops, and alternative cuts for most tracks so you can edit them perfectly to your timing.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one, but to protect the music, there is a simple process.
This music is covered by the Pitch & Demo License, which normally costs £9.95. Putting a price tag on it stops random bots from abusing the catalogue and prevents people from using my music free for commercial purposes.
If you are a voiceover using it to pitch for work or showcase your skills, you can get the cost dropped to zero.
Here is how it works:
- Send me a quick email with a link to your voiceover website or portfolio. hello@beanstalkaudio.com
- Once approved, I will send you a code that drops the Pitch & Demo License cost to zero. The code is assigned to your email address.
- You can reuse that same code as many times as you like, on as many tracks as you need, whenever you need it.
What’s in it for me?
When you use my music, it helps me out in a few simple ways:
- Exposure: More people hear my work. If a producer or brand hears your reel and loves the track, they may want to license it for a commercial project.
- Word of mouth: If you give me a credit, it helps spread the word.
- Content ID: If you host your demo on YouTube, any automated ads that play will generate a tiny bit of income for me while your video does its job.
How credit works, depending on where you’re using it
This music is free to use with your code, and in return, a credit or shoutout is required.
- Auditions and client pitches: A submission like this might not be the place for a text credit. Instead, a shoutout on social media is the perfect substitute.
- Permanent demo reels (on your own website): Please include a credit somewhere on the page. If it doesn’t work for how your site’s laid out, a shout-out on social media instead is the alternative.
- Social media posts and videos: Please include a tag or a mention in the caption, description, or on-screen. To go a step further, drop a link to my website in the comments too.
- Going the extra mile: If you want to feature me or my website, feel free to use a logo graphic instead of text. Any publicity you’re willing to give me is fantastic. Get in touch with me if you want any more information.
How to credit
Here are a few ways to word it; use whichever fits best:
“[Tack name] by Lee Pritchard (https://beanstalkaudio.com)”
“[Track name] licensed from https://beanstalkaudio.com”
“Music licensed from https://beanstalkaudio.com”
“Music by https://beanstalkaudio.com”
*Even though this music is free to use, it’s still licensed and you still get a license with each track.
What you cannot do
To keep things fair, there are boundaries:
- No unpaid commercial use: If you land a paid project for a client, you cannot use this music in the final delivery for free. Either you or your client will need to buy an appropriate license. For example, if you use my music in your pitch for an on-hold voiceover job and the client wants to use the background track, they need to license it directly from me, or you can license it on their behalf and invoice them for it.
- No AI training: You cannot use my music to train, fine-tune, or generate output with any AI model or tool.
- No file sharing: The audio files you download are covered by your license for your use, and that license does not extend to anyone else. If you know a fellow voiceover artist who’d find this useful, share this page with them rather than the files (share buttons at the bottom) — they can grab their own free code and they’ll have their own license to back it up.
